What is Executive Function?

Executive Function is a set of mental skills and cognitive abilities that include working memory, flexible thinking, and self control, which are required for goal-directed behavior.

What is Executive Function Coaching?

Executive Function Coaching is a specialized coaching approach that focuses on improving the cognitive processes related to executive functioning.  My coaching program is tailored to meet the unique needs of my clients with ADHD and Autism by providing the tools and strategies needed to improve executive functioning skills and become more productive in their daily lives. This program is designed to help clients create and implement personalized systems to manage time, tasks, and impulse control.

How Does ADHD Affect Executive Functioning?

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by persistent patterns of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity that interfere with daily functioning and development. Like autism spectrum disorder, ADHD exists on a spectrum, with individuals experiencing symptoms to varying degrees of severity.


Those with ADHD may struggle with some or all the following day-to-day tasks:

How Does ASD Affect Executive Functioning?

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental condition that affects social interaction, communication, behavior, and sensory processing. It is characterized by a wide range of symptoms and levels of impairment, which is why it's referred to as a "spectrum" disorder. Individuals with ASD may experience difficulties in various areas of functioning, but the severity and combination of symptoms can vary greatly from person to person.
